現時倫敦布魯內爾大學正式參與支持英國文化協會 STEM 女性獎學金既計劃。大學將會系2022 年為來自東亞地區（僅限符合條件的國家）既女學生提供五項全額獎學金。
我地唔難睇到越黎越多既機構開始，甚至已經推動STEM既普及化同發展。而點解會有呢個趨勢呢？其實答案顯而易見，就係STEM相關人才相當不足，尤其係女性，女性進入呢啲（STEM）領域既可能性同數量都遠低於男性。而有唔同原因會導致呢個成因出現，而最為人熟悉既就係因為性別定型同對女性既刻板印象，最常見既例子就係普遍人都會認為女性喺文科方面比理科、物理科學或數學要好。久而久之就有男從理，女從文既文化出現。
而呢個計劃係想尋找具有 STEM（科學、技術、工程和數學）背景既女性，而當佢地展示到對呢方面既興趣，並確定需要經濟援助之後，就可以參加呢個獎學金。當然，計劃都會希望激勵到未來幾代既女性從事 STEM 職業，例如工程師。
而呢個計劃對於推廣STEM有冇幫助呢？毫無疑問係有既。經濟負擔一直都係阻礙人持續發展既重大原因之一。有好多有天份既學生就係因為負擔唔起昂貴既高等教育費用而放棄深造，有啲為左養家要提早踏足社會。雖然呢個獎學金計劃唔可以完全扭轉呢個可悲既局面，但佢絕對幫助到好多正在受到唔同阻礙既女性去追夢！
Brunel University London is supporting the British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM. They are offering five fully-funded scholarships for female students from the East Asia region (eligible countries only) in 2022, it is part of the British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM.
It’s obvious that those organizations are promoting STEM education. The reason for this is simple: STEM-related talents are insufficient, in the sense that women are far less likely than men to enter these (STEM) fields. In terms of gender stereotypes, women are known to be better at liberal arts than science, physical science, or mathematics.
This program seeks women with a background in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) who can prove their need for financial support, and, of course, it also wants to inspire future generations of women to pursue STEM careers.
Undoubtedly, the financial burden is one of the most significant problems that limit people to engage in these fields. How many gifted students give up advanced study only because they cannot afford the expensive expense of higher education. Although this program cannot turn this pathetic situation, it definitely helps so many people who are suffering from this problem.

Those who are eligible can get the fully-funded scholarship, it covers:
Tuition fees
Monthly stipend (up to 12 months)
Return economy-class travel
IELTS exam fee (for scholars without a valid test of English)
Visa and Insurance/ NHS surcharge cost
Child allowance (where applicable)
The question is, what qualification does this program need?
Those women who are willing to apply must be nationals and residents of the eligible countries in East Asia, (Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) and apply for and fulfill the entry criteria for admission to the full-time courses which related to STEM and confirmed by the British Council.
In conclusion, due to the insufficient need for STEM talents, also the high demand needs of STEM-related positions, both reflect the importance of STEM. Instead of waiting for the world to change, why not take the initiative to adapt to the trend.
