Minecraft is a popular open-world game with an emphasis on either exploration or creation in its vast blocky world. Using Java to run, it makes it the perfect candidate to learn object-oriented programming for children and other coding enthusiasts. In Coding Minecraft, students will learn the coding syntax of Java through the creation of various mods for Minecraft, allowing them to view how their code has affected the game almost simultaneously. Starting from a simple drag-and-drop format, then to typing out code, students will be able to explore the vast world of coding through Java and all its various functionalities. In this course, students will learn the basics of mechanical engineering while building different forms of transports, such as airplanes and cars, using LEGO. On top of this, they will also learn the basic flow of coding in order to programme their robots to move.
Wild Animals:
Learn about mechanical engineering based on the animal kingdom. In this course, students will build various models, such as lions and birds, in order to learn about how motors and gears function, as well as little facts about the animals themselves.
Rescue Heroes:
Learn about the basics of mechanical engineering and programming by building and coding different models using LEGO. In this course, students will build different builds that can be used for disaster prevention or for rescue then programming them to perform the required tasks.
