Coding Minecraft

Minecraft is a popular open-world game with an emphasis on either exploration or creation in its vast blocky world. Using Java to run, it makes it the perfect candidate to learn object-oriented programming for children and other coding enthusiasts. In Coding Minecraft, students will learn the coding syntax of Java through the creation of various mods for Minecraft, allowing them to view how their code has affected the game almost simultaneously. Starting from a simple drag-and-drop format, then to typing out code, students will be able to explore the vast world of coding through Java and all its various functionalities. So, let the coding adventure begin!

Coding Roblox

Roblox is a game platform and game creation system that allows for its users to both play games and create their own games. Millions of players use Roblox to play and create games and in this course, students can learn to create their own games in Roblox by using Lua, the coding language that Roblox is based on. Moreover, rather than only coding, students can design their own maps through the use of Roblox Studio. Combined with the coding, students will be able to experience what it is really like to be a game designer.

Scratch Overview:

Enjoy coding with interesting challenges that foster the student’s creativity and imagination. In this course, students will learn how to create animations to create their own short movies, as well as learn to create simple games that use different input methods to play the game, all using the programme Scratch. 

Pyhton overivew:

In the Python course, students will gain a basic understanding of object-oriented programming. Through designing, coding, and debugging Python programmes, students will enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, no prior experience required. The course is project based, with students completing a project by the end of each lesson that encourages students to master important programming concepts through practise.

ScratchJr Overview:

Learn the basic flow of how coding and programming is done through our simple Scratch Jr. course. In it, students will learn to create simple animations to teach them the very basics of coding.

LEGO WEDO Overview:

Let’s Get Moving:
In this course, students will learn the basics of mechanical engineering while building different forms of transports, such as airplanes and cars, using LEGO. On top of this, they will also learn the basic flow of coding in order to programme their robots to move.

Wild Animals:
Learn about mechanical engineering based on the animal kingdom. In this course, students will build various models, such as lions and birds, in order to learn about how motors and gears function, as well as little facts about the animals themselves. 

Rescue Heroes:
Learn about the basics of mechanical engineering and programming by building and coding different models using LEGO. In this course, students will build different builds that can be used for disaster prevention or for rescue then programming them to perform the required tasks.
