Coding Minecraft Level 1

Game modification with Java
Learn to use the Code Editor and the very basics of Java coding constructs through the creation of different fun mods! By the end, students will have learnt more about the use of methods, creating timers and introduced to the use of conditionals and for loops in creating rules for different games.

Coding Minecraft Level 2

Game modification with Java
Continue to practise the use of loops and conditionals previously introduced in Level 1 to now generate structures on top of setting up game rules. Students will be able to practise what they have learnt so far as well as create two other mods to play with.

Coding Minecraft Level 3

Game modification with Java
Practise more advanced uses of conditionals and for loops, as well as switches, to create the various game phases that controls the fate of the players in the server. On top of this, learn to create a point system for games within Minecraft.

Coding Minecraft Level 4

Game modification with Java
Use more complex programming constructs such as intervals and returns, as well as more advanced uses of methods, variables and for loops to create two different mods in this level. On top of this, continue to practise the use of conditionals to set up different game rules.

Coding Roblox Level 1

Game creation with Lua
Start your journey into Lua coding by creating four simple games in Roblox that will teach you how to use the Code Editor as well as how to navigate and use Roblox Studio. By the end, students will have gained the basic knowledge of Lua coding, such as the use of functions and conditionals to aid them with more difficult programming in future courses.

Coding Roblox Level 2

Game creation with Lua
Create more games to get a better grip with syntax and typing Lua code. On top of this, gain a more in depth insight into the nature of Lua coding, such as the concept of recursion, the parent / child structure and how to procedurally generate structures using Lua. On top of this students will learn how to use vectors, loops and a score system to create an arena-based PVP game.

Coding Roblox Level 3

Game creation with Lua
Learn more in depth uses of loops and use random math functions in this course. Students will also learn how to alter the camera through Lua coding. Moreover, students will learn various game design theories that can be applied to the creation of any game in the future.

Cyber Virtual Robotics Level 1

Interacting with virtual worlds with CVR
Want to experience virtual robotics but are scared it is too difficult? In this course you will learn all the basic topics of robotics to jumpstart your virtual robotic journey, starting from basic movement of the robot, to the use of different sensors.

Cyber Virtual Robotics Level 2

Interacting with virtual worlds with CVR
Using Ruby’s excellent navigation tools, help Ruby explore the thin and dangerous roads. This course will encourage students to plan and find the most efficient route using different tools such as the colour sensor to help with precision manoeuvres of Ruby and more.

Cyber Virtual Robotics Level 3

Interacting with virtual worlds with CVR
In this course, students will learn the basics of using Python to control Ruby to explore different terrains. They need to apply some science idea and calculation to solve the problems to accomplish the tasks to be the Robot Pioneer!

Cyber Virtual Robotics Level 4

Interacting with virtual worlds with CVR
Ruby is going to take action once again and arm up! With the introduction of a magnetic arm and other sensors, Ruby is going to manoeuvre objects here and there. To meet the challenges, students will need to learn more complex Python coding and do a lot of testing and improving their codes. They will find it very challenging as the problem will get harder and more complex.

Scratch Animation Level 1

Animation and game creation with Scratch
Enjoy coding with interesting challenges that allows students to foster their creativity and imagination. In this course, they will learn to animate their favourite names, programme a rock and roll band and create their own unique stories using Scratch programming.

Scratch Animation Level 2

Animation and game creation with Scratch
In this level, students will learn to create a series of different animations in order to learn more about coding syntax in Scratch, such as conditionals and loops. Moreover, students will also get a glimpse into using different inputs and getting different outputs with Scratch.

Animation and game creation with Scratch
Take a dive into the world of video sensing with Scratch. In this level, students will learn to create different games that use the camera in their computer to play the game, whether it be to control the player or to draw things using their hands.

Micro:bit Gadgets Level 1

Gadgets in daily life with Micro:bit
The Micro:bit is a small computer that is well suited for introducing how software and hardware work together to perform tasks. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors, and many input/output features that students can use to learn basic coding and physically see what actions are performed through their code.

Micro:bit Gadgets Level 2

Gadgets in daily life with Micro:bit
The Micro:bit comes with different sensors that can be used to perform different tasks in order to create different gadgets that can be used, such as a pedometer for counting steps or a watering system that can detect soil moisture level and water the plant if the soil is too dry.

Creative Minecraft – Red Stone

Urban development with MinecraftMedieval Machinations
This course introduces students to the many uses of Redstone through a Medieval themed adventure of creation, exploration, and castle besieging, with students making mine cart tracks to help them gather resources, working together to build their kingdom, and designing traps to defend their castle, all with the use of Redstone.

Creative Minecraft – Theme Park

Urban development with MinecraftTheme Park Mania
This course will have students build their very own Minecraft amusement parks! Students will have to navigate a number of engineering and teamwork challenges to do so. Students will draft blueprints and plans for their parks on paper before beginning to create it in Minecraft to make it as much like the process of designing a real amusement park as possible.

Creative Minecraft – Urban Innovations

Urban development with MinecraftUrban Innovations
Design, create, and make your very own city come alive using Minecraft! In this course, students will explore the theme of sustainable, innovative, and futuristic transportation systems that include public transportation, such as rails, busses, and taxis, as well as pedestrian and bicycle systems.

Python Coding Level 1

Coding with Python
Enter the world of Python coding through the use of the turtle module of Python. In this level, students will learn the basics of Python coding using turtle, which allows them to draw different pictures, shapes, etc. all with just written code.

Coding with Python
Learn to create different games, such as Simon Says or Pac-man, or create tools, such as a calculator, with Python coding! In this level, students will learn to set up different rules using conditionals and loops in order to complete the various tasks.

In this course, students will practice the basics of their TinkerCAD skills like scaling, moving, and rotating objects to create a Japanese style building.

Learn to create a living space with walls made out of cylinders to create your very own log cabin. In this course, students will learn different ways to use hole objects as well as learn to better use the work-plane tools in TinkerCAD.

In this course, students will learn the basics of mechanical engineering while building different forms of transports, such as airplanes and cars, using LEGO. On top of this, they will also learn the basic flow of coding in order to programme their robots to move.
